Security false alarms are common. What I do to check a suspicious 
website or download is to pass the URL to VirusTotal:

https://www.virustotal.com/gui/home/url

It will check it with dozens of anti-virus programs. Once you're 
satisfied it's safe, you can proceed. In the case of a download, disable 
your anti-virus software first and then reenable it after the download.
