Brian,

I suggest that you study my work on this. Fundamental concepts are in 
k9yc.com/RFI-Ham.pdf  You clearly are not aware of the fundamental 
concepts on which effect HF and MF chokes are based.

A coil of coax is NOT an effective choke at HF.
