Yes, I hoped they would be a useful tool, but when I built and measured 
about 70 chokes in multiple winding styles, they turn out to be useful 
only on 80 and 160M.

And Fair-Rite #31 mix is the only ferrite I've found that is useful for 
chokes at HF and 160M.
