[TowerTalk] TIC Rotor Controller

I am installing an ERC 4.0 USB in a TIC controller.
My controllers say the model number is 2020.
They look nothing like the 2020 pictured in the manual I can find online.

They do look like a digital readout version of a 2100.

Does anyone know what the deal is here?
I know that reverse engineering anything TIC related requires some mental
gymnastics, but these units look nothing alike!
