[TowerTalk] Using a Yaesu G-800SA controller with a G-800 DXA motor

I replaced my problematic G-800SA motor with a used G-800 DXA motor and
controller, and accidentally damaged the transformer.  Requests to Yaesu
parts, both by phone and online get no response.

I have a perfectly fine G-800SA controller and would like to use it with
the DXA motor. From what I can see, while the two motors look different,
use different connectors but seem electrically identical. Right now I'm
using an older GH RT-21 controller that I'd prefer to repurpose with the
DXA  motor, and it works FB.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. I'd prefer not to follow one mistake
with another.
