Band Map Question

Hi Folks

I have a question on the band map in TR and was wondering if I could get
some input.

Is there a way to make the band-map area smaller???  I'm using a VGA
monitor and I have also tried the FONT.EXE program to see if that helps.
My screen is basically cut in half....log up top and map on the bottom.  
Just wanted to know if there is a way to make the log.....say 3/4 of the
screen and the map 1/4??

And then again....I could just have things hosed due to op. error.

Any help would be appreciated.
