Is the url for information about the 1x1 call sign system.
Basically anyone can get it for 15 days for a special event. 

The 1x1 information is available under special events and the data base
is at
http://ncvec.spindle.net/html/show_all.cfm

If the event and contest overlap then operating in the contest is
entirely permissable.
