I am using a Kenwood TS-870, and list it as "TS-870" in the config file. =
I am also using a standard serial cable, bought from a local =
electronics store to feed the 870 with. I haven't had any problems with =
the hardware ... but it's taking me awhile to get up to speed on the =
software!
