Question: Does your radio have band outputs?

It seems to me that one would want the radio to do the antenna
switching and not the computer?? If, for some reason, the radio
doesn't follow the computer band change, the radio would still be
seeing the correct band antenna(s).

Only if the radio did not have band outputs would I consider
using the computer to switch antennas.

I am finishing up a homebrew control box which uses the two
radios' band outputs to control the Six-Pak antenna switch box
and bandpass filters. Works like a charm. AND I don't have to
have the computer on to play on either radio.
