     I connect my paddles pins 12, 13, and 25, as shown in the parallel
port connections in rear of TRLog manual.  You have a reason for 
not doing this, but should you change your mind, you'll find the speed
of the paddle CW is the same as the speed sent by the computer.
Not only is this a convenience, but it helps me send cleaner with
the paddles -- the speed that is in my mind from listening to the com-
puter output is the speed that the paddle starts off with.

     I also tee a memory keyer into the rig's key jack.  That is, it's
in parallel with the computer's keying.  But I hardly ever use the mem-
ory keyer, if in contest work.  It would give me a lot of additional CW
programmed msgs, but it would not be automatically at the right speed.

     Good luck from Charlie, W2KTF, who sent with bug for over a half
century, and needs all the paddle help he can get.
