I have similar, but different problems, as K4BEV and VE5ZX with ICOM =
radios and TR.

Both my IC-756Pro and IC-756 change filters when entering a frequency in =
the call window. The 'Pro goes to filter 2 (of 3) and the straight 765 =
goes to the narrow filter. The 'Pro goes to filter 2 even if filter 3 is =
selected.

Also, when using the Alt-N command to enter a transmit frequency. Both =
radios go to split mode (great!) but then change the listening frequency =
to the value typed in the computer (not so great) and do the above =
mentioned filter change.

I did not notice the filter change on the IC-756Pro until tonight after =
seeing it on the IC-756 (the IC-756 is "newer", having been bought as a =
second radio for the IC-756Pro). I did not notice it because I use =
filter 2 alot on the 'Pro.

Any solutions/thoughts?

Chuck, KE4OAR
