I will adapt some of this stuff for the next version of the manual, since 
(as was pointed out) it's no longer reasonable to expect people to know how 
to do much of anything in DOS.

Also, I'd be very interested in hearing about experiences with WinMe. One 
magazine review I read suggested that WinMe is no longer built on top of 
DOS and in fact runs a DOS emulator (like WinNT/2000). If that's true, then 
running TR under WinMe might turn out to be problematic. I'd like to know 
the truth so I can put it in the manual.
