[TRLog] Field Day Networking Question

How far would your setup require?  I've networked machines via serial at
9600 baud for just over 700 feet with no noticeable degradation.

Just make sure you cable stays "clean": no kinks, pinches, loose
connections, etc.

Would anyone have any idea regarding the maximum distance between
computers?  Is cat-5 cable appropriate for this application?
