[TRLog] Laptop, network, rig interface

I have a laptop I use with TR. For the IOTA contest I want to operate
the laptop connected to the TR network and the rig. As I understand
things this means I need two serial ports. But the laptop only has
one serial port. I could buy a serial PCMCIA card, but these are pricey
and I am cheap.

Is there another way to do this?
