This is where the Windows Style Guidelines come in handy.

<CTRL-C>  Copy to Clipboard
<CTRL-X>  Cut to Clipboard
<CTRL-V>  Paste from Clipboard

<SHIFT-LEFT ARROW> Highlight text by letter to left
<SHIFT-RIGHT ARROW> Highlight text by letter to Right

<CTRL- SHIFT-LEFT ARROW> Highlight text by word (next whitespace) to left
<CTRL- SHIFT-RIGHT ARROW> Highlight text by word (next whitespace) to Right
