No better time to do this than right at the last minute.

The trick is:

rtty receive string = <04>
rtty send string = tc<0D>x<0D>

The "tc" in RTTY SEND STRING is necessary as when coming out of F10
(puts TNC into TX & further keystrokes are sent as text) with ESC causes
an extra character (a ^D, I think) to be sent, which the PK-232 keeps in its
transmit buffer.  "TC" clears that buffer.  If you don't do this, then the next
time you do anything, the TNC goes immediately back to receive after
starting to transmit.

EX MENU doesn't work, although EX MEMORIES work whilst in exchange
mode.

That should be enough for the curious to give it a go this weekend in CQ
WW RTTY.
