...if you are physically located in Africa. From Europe, the average QSO
point value is very seldom 3. 

IMO, there is ample space around the rate windo to show both rates.
Discard the RATE DISPLAY =, or have RATE DISPLAY =QSO POINTS/
QSOs/BOTH.
