I tend not to operate SSB for long periods of time, but when I did do 
that, I always thought it would be a good idea to put a PTT switch in 
a film can...kinda like a mouse...so I could stretch and talk at the 
same time...was probably in the paper logging days.  I never did rig 
it up though.
