I do have a report about this.

It appears that the FT-2000 command set is totally different than any other
Yaesu radio (which isn't new).  However, what is new is how different it
is - VERY.  In fact, the command structure looks almost identical to the
Kenwood commands - but not close enough to actually work (VE3EJ tried).

I haven't had time yet to dive into the details.  Please complain to Yaesu
about not being able to put out two radios in a row that work the same way.
Moving the Kenwood commands would have been a great move - but only if they
did it well enough to actually work (like Elecraft did).
