[Trlog] FTdx-5000 or FT-2000?

I've been presented with the opportunity to use an FTdx-5000!  :-)  Anyone tried
one of these with TR-Log yet?  Googling provides anecdotal evidence that the 
protocol MAY be compatible with the FT-2000...
