[UK-CONTEST] ARRL DX CW, G entries

Or only on CW. G8D had two outings last year, both as GU8D in
CQWW 160 SSB and IOTA Contest, both multi-op. I have used
G8D in the ARRL 10m Contest for several years, originally as MO
then SO. Last year I wanted to air my own callsign a bit more so I
didn't use G8D in CQWW CW/SSB or ARRL 10m.

Planned outings this year are probably WPX CW (G8D) and definately
IOTA GU8D.

BTW, there are 520 possible combinations for the Special Contest
Callsigns so if only 50 or so have been issued then maybe there is
availablity for some 450 or so vanity calls!!!

I would go with the suggestion of vanity calls and a 1kw licence.
Question is though, would we get free membership of G-QRP club!
