[UK-CONTEST] GM4AFF ARRL 160m CW

Hi Stewart,

I had a good listening session I didn't try to work any one but I heard some
surprising DX, for me anyway. I am not topband person at all. I heard about
5 JA's and a VK5. Were condx particularily good? There seemd to be very
low band noise.... about S3.

I used my 80M delta loop with one end disconnected and the other end fed
against ground as an end fed. It seemed to work very well or was I just
lucky and hit exceptional conditions?

I would be really interested to hear any comments from anyone about condx.

I don't want to rub it in Stewart but there is no doubt that it is much
easier on Lf down here, than in Aberdeenshire :0(

(I'm an ex Aberdonian)

Alex
