Dear UK-Contest,
Log-checking for the CQ WW SSB contest has started
in earnest. The first step is to maximise the number of
contacts in the data-base from submitted logs. To do
this we chase up big logs that have not yet been
submitted. It's not too late to add them.
By analysing the logs already submitted we can see
the call-signs of stations who were especially active in
the contest but who have not yet submitted a log. They
are listed in rank order so as to prioritise the biggest
logs and then ordered alphabetically. So, now we have
a list of UK stations who a) made a lot of QSOs in the
contest and b) have not submitted a log. The list below
shows the number of times each call was reported as
worked in logs that have already been submitted. We
took an arbitrary cut-off of 300 loggings to be included
in this list.
If you are shown in the list below PLEASE send your log
to SSB at CQWW.COM as soon as possible.
Cabrillo format is preferred but ANY format is better than
none, even if you prefer the 'Check-Log' category. At bare
minimum (for C/L status) we need a list of call-signs
worked by band.
Many thanks for your help. Adjudication will be all the more
accurate. If you know anyone in this list please pass on
the message in case they don't read this reflector.
(PS for the CW types: a similar list will be circulated in
January for large logs that are missing from the CQ WW CW
data-base, so if you are one of those missing few PLEASE
send in a log to CW at CQWW.COM - ta very much).
