Great contest. Well done RSGB.
It felt like two separate contests were running in parallel: one was a
work-the-world free-for-all (like WPX CW) and the other was a poorly
supported version of BERU.
The use of Commonwealth multipliers meant that my score was still 'zero'
even after 15 QSOs (QSO Nr 16 was my first Commonwealth station).
Thanks to the huge number of Europeans which took part. I only hope they
were
not too disappointed by the low number of Commonwealth stations active.
It was a great idea to have a special Jubilee contest that allowed the GQ
prefix
to be aired en masse, as well as to combine a free-for-all contest with a
mini-BERU.
