This is simply untrue. Whether or not there is a rift, I don't know -
there certainly isn't as far as I'm concerned - but as editor of RadCom
I'd be delighted to list or report WAB contests in the magazine. But I
never receive *any* input from the WAB group - that's the simple reason
they're not in RadCom! Having said that, only last week my old friend
John, G8XTJ, sent me an e-mail saying that he was now the WAB Contest
organiser and could I list two WAB VHF Contests in the GB2RS news, which
I have been pleased to do (these are also on the RSGB website). The
details of these two contests were received far too late for the
relevant RadCom. Perhaps now that John is looking after the WAB
contests, though, their publicity machine will start to work better.
