Whilst there is an smidgen of truth in this, I would point out that this was
more or less our strategy this year and it looks like we didn't win! We've
been flogging away at this one for over five years now and have never hit
the top spot.

Don't put yourself down Nigel! there's more to winning SSBFD than that.

I have no problem with increasing the importance of /P stations in what is
after all a field day event. I do, however, consider DXCC multipliers a very
useful motivator for antenna improvements - something that adds a technical
element to the challenge.
