Hi all
First time of doing a sprint and I enjoyed it. I didn't expect to take part as I was helping a friend out with his antennas most of the day but got back and started about 30 minutes after the start. The DL2NBU software worked fine and was very easy to use.
Had qso's with just about everyone on 40M who I had done on 20M. 40M was best as more stations seemed to join in towards the end. Good to hear some more G's and a few M3's taking part. With the limited setup 80M was my worst band, only 1 80M QSO - Thanks Lee :-)
Best part of course is that everyone is always on the move, no big gun's to just sit and call CQ all the time. This made it more interesting and gave everyone a chance to have their share of CQ's.
Tricky part for me was wanting to say 59 xxx all the time, and not just the serial and name, 59 050 flows better than just 050 but after a while I got used to it, signal reports mean nothing these days so its not important to have them anyway.
Finished with 80 QSO's
80M 1
40M 51
20M 28
Equipment:
TS-570DG, Heil with HC4, 100W, Doublet @ 35ft with SGC-230, DL2NBU Software.
Thanks to all that called/worked me.
Richard, M5RIC
