First real attempt, had a few Qs some years ago and also remember entering
RSGB Hopscotch (what an old-fashioned name now!)
Some of my exchanges using the keyer were pure, unadultered and abolute
rubbish so apologies to anyone on the end of that. I used Writelog NA Sprint
format, it worked fine filling in names as I moved bands and the logged
frequency served as a useful reminder about the QSY rule, although I note
that a few Qs showed less than 2KHz move. Guess they will be removed in
adjudication.

I enjoyed the challenge of not sending RST although I fell into the trap a
few times, also there are a number of techniques to learn regarding how to
QSY. Didn't use the FT1kMP 2nd rx on this occasion prefering to concentrate
on getting the info correct. I noted several more eastern Eu stations CQing
on top of others which led me to believe they were switching from one fixed
QRG to another and not bothering about who was on.

Refreshing to work a contest which does not discriminate against UK
stations, allows UK to work UK and has a modern European concept against an
outdated British Empire theme.

Band Qs
20 70
40 62
80 39
Total 171

Definately hooked. Must try harder though. Ft1kMP, Acom 1000 amp, 80m dipole
at 17m, 40m dipole at 15m, 20m loop at 13m.
G3SJJ Chris (must also choose an easier name!!)
