I think the organisers of this Contest should be congratulated on getting
this NA Sprint look alike up and running. Having only done a few of them I
still have a few tweaks to make to get the best out of my set-up. I agree
with Dave when he mentioned the early start time in Western EU, on the 19th
my Sunset was at 1931Z where as in Moscow it was at 1641 and guess who has
put in the largest SSB sprint claimed score. The NA Sprint is timed to start
when Sunset is half way across Continental USA.
The numbers active on 20 were fairly good with the YU Contest not causing
too much of a problem. 40M was unusable near the end with the WSEM contest
going on. It seems to me that any start time change should also include a
Day change ( Sunday) to avoid the WSEM and probably pick up a whole bunch of
UA activity.
