I feel I need to echo in part the comment from neil G3RIR regarding the forwarding of suggestions to the HFCC.I know for certain that Justin, the HFCC chairman does not subscribe to this forum,and question if any member does. I recall that Dave, G4BUO has commented once or twice.I would suggest therefore that any proposals aired in this group are copied to a known member. 
        For my part I feel that many suggestions regarding international participation are somewhat complex, and still would prefer some SHORT inter UK cw and separate SSB some to take place during the week. I do not feel that long contests will attract newcomers and, regrettably the short slow speed contests have so far failed in this endeavour, being supported mainly by G2,3 and 4s.
        Oh well the dead horses continue to be punished cheers Ivan G3IZD
