Good! Trim bits off until it is resonant on 3.5MHz (it was for 80M wasn't
it?) then just fold the ends back until it is where you want it. If you
like you can then trim it when your sure it is right.
As G3SEK says you could use a coax balun if you like. I don't think
feedline radiation is automatically a bad thing, especially if you want the
antenna for general purpose use.
