Another battery powered station from Bracknell. Operating was for the 
first 12 hours (1500z-0300z) which listening in the shack today may 
have been the better half as far as propagation goes. Very little 
heard on 10, but 15 was quite good on Saturday. 160 and 80 as usual 
were lively - at one time we generated a run of about 15 stations on 
top band, not bad for a QRP station! QSOs are only slightly down on 
last year but overall score is noticeably down due to a lack of 
bonuses on 10m.

Few real problems but did have a few hickups with our logging 
computer. Used my old Toshiba 386 with SD, run off the camping 
trailer battery. Unfortunately as the trailer had not been used this 
season its battery was not in prime condition and let us down. Also 
found that our backup to its floppy was corrupted when I got home, 
presumably related to low volts - fortunately the copy on the hard 
disk was OK.....

I intend to write up this year's event on my website as an addition 
to last year's and will announce on here in due course.
