Again this year we opted to chase the Frank Hoosen Trophy, being a little
short on CW op's (anyone fancy a scorching weekend Guernsey style next
year?) and wanting to improve on last year's score.

Good points:
The Guernsey Electricity's mobile workshop (tnx Bob!).
The view, YOX's cooked breakfast.
Faultless PC and SD log.
The 2 VK YL's who strolled past and had the full enthusiastic "YOX style"
description of what "exactly" was going on. Pity they never returned despite
our "friendly invitation".

Bad Points:
Heaving the antenna up (thirsty work).
Forgetting to change the PC clock to GMT (yours truly to blame).
Loosing the Quad 3 hours before the end of the contest (it went open
circuit) and only having the GP left.
Sun burn for the rest of the following week.
Not being able to give the GJ boys a run for their money. Lastly all those
DL zero's who kept trying to move use to 15 (sorry chaps , perhaps next
year, all band).

See you all next year.
Now off to look for previous NFD records - anyone already collated them?
