First time getting to grips with computer logging in BERU (yes the cardboard
dupe sheets were still there just in case!) and kept forgetting to change
between CQ and search mode, hence a rather large number of busted exchanges,
but the automated scoring and duping really makes it worthwhile.

Conditions felt well into the shoulder of the cycle, with 10 closing early
and 80 a lot better than last year. Restricted section is so frustrating as
invariably all those choice areas disappear as soon as the "off" hour is
over. I had 30 minutes left at the end which could have been spent in one
session or two - planned to save 15 minutes until the end but was seduced by
some nice VKs emerging on 15 and missed a lot of good stuff that surfaced
after 0900.

Overall, pretty uphill, with 90% S&P apart from one decent run of ZLs. One
advantage of the restricted section - if you're not happy with the rate,
just stop and snooze until later, without penalty!

Kit used: TenTec Omni VI plus Titan
Antenna (all bands): 260 ft wire sloping 130 ft to 25 ft, fed off centre
with Z match
Logger: UA1AAF (files modified for BERU)
