Well down on 20m this year but good fun although the night watch
(what I saw of it) is palling a bit
DX contacts 7 VKs 3 ZLs 3 VP2 3 ZF and one J88
My G5RV is N/S so I seem to miss a big sector. What can I do? a
power increase over three watts seems pointless. I did get only one 559
(I joke!) .
I enjoyed it all but it is interesting to hear the different reactions to
flea
power. Some stay with it untill they get the exchange but others just go
straight back to CQ. The question is, do you get more out of winkling
out a QRP station or getting another point from a (true) 599 signal.
My Cabrillo log was a first: HFCC may prefer paper logs in future.
seriously, I think that I made sense of it thanks to Don and his
Cabrillo Primer. You didn't tell us how to pronounce it Don.
