I'm shocked and saddened to hear of the sudden unexpected death
of Bill Fisher W4AN, a great contester.

What some subscribers may not know is that Bill generously provided 
the resources for the uk-contest reflector, as well as cq-contest and
eHam.net. His friends in the US contesting community are in a state
of shock and will be doing what they can to ensure the continuation
of the contest resources that Bill made available, but this may impact
the future of uk-contest.
