[UK-CONTEST] FT1000 ROM Version

Just found it! Holding buttons 1 + 3 down at switch on gives access to the
ROM version.
Sadly it shows "Yaesu 5.84"  Any ideas where I can pick up a current ROM and
how much?

I am trying to hook up an FT1000 to SD for rig control and understand the
ROM version needs to be 6.
Can anyone tell me how to check the version on the FT?
