Not sure exactly what antennas you were using, but those "punk antennas" 
seemed to be doing a good job for you.  You were working stations that I 
couldn't hear at all on my G5RV or 10m vertical here in Chepstow.

Mind you, during the day on 10m (as on the other HF bands) I have an S4 
background noise level on the vertical, and an S6 noise level on the 
G5RV.  It sure is getting tougher to operate a station from an urban 
environment.

In the end, 52 stations in 16 countries managed to read my QRP signals 
during this weekend's ARRL 10m event.   Most of the credit should go to 
those who managed to pull my signals through the noise.  About 3,300 
points.  Rig was a K2.
