[UK-CONTEST] Yaesu Rotators

Excuse the bandwidth but contesters are perhaps best placed to answer this
one.

Based on printed specifications I recently purchased 2-new rotators a
G1000SDX and a G2800SDX.

Having read the specifications in the handbook they recommend a loading
safety factor  of maximum  no more than 60%  of full load. This derates the
G1000 to no more than a typical small tribander (12-14ft boom).

Have you had experience of these rotators? With what loading? and most
important location. I find the figures a little bemusing.
