Hi Ivan,
I was one of the confused ones ! We were meant to be exchanging
RST+Serial+District code, although I guess there's a misunderstanding over
"District." They've not changed - we changed just the once from the old 3
letter county abbreviations to the new 2 letter post-code Districts a few
years ago.
For you, based on your postcode, you should have been sending "LA" for
Lancaster.
The districts offered in SD do match up with the ones in the rules - have a
look at the http://www.rsgbhfcc.org site, and then click on the Information
link, and then Codes.
Not to worry - maybe a kind adjudicator will let us keep the extra
"multiplier" :-)
GL & 73,
Lee G0MTN

Many operators seemed confused regarding the UK bonuses to be used in this,
as was I.
I used SD in mode 10 with "UK mults " selected. My own being CU for
Cumbria (used to be CBA). The codes used were a complete novelty to me but
seemed most suitable. Some contacts said "ur code not in SD" and gave old
postal district abbreviations. SD provided the ability to approve and enter
those codes not initially included in the table. Did I get it wrong,
certainly I cannot recall any changes to the exchange to be sent being
promulgated, and I was driven, logically, by the SD setup.
