(OE9XRV).

Club: CDXC Chiltern DX Club

Thanks to Carl OE9MON, Tommi OE9PTI and the other members of the
Bregenz club station (OE9XRV) for letting me use their nice location
for ARRL CW.

The station is located right on the edge of Lake Constance with a
clear take-off to the US. The antennas were simple wires at about 25ft
above ground. Mainly a 255ft off-centre fed Windom. [Not quite as
punchy into W/VE as a mono-band beam way up in the sky!]

My callsign (OE9/G3TXF) was probably one of the most 'awkward' in the
contest! Operation was mostly S&P, although occasional runs were to be
had if I used quiet, out of the way frequencies such as 14097 kHz!
