I haven't done AFS for a couple of years and agree with other comments 
about missing callsigns. On the other hand there were some new ones 
including a few ex-B licenses.

I usually suffer the first hour or so being down near Eastbourne with weak 
sigs from the Midlands up but this year a surprise call from GM early on 
made me think condx were strange (usually they are 20 over in the last hour 
anyway).

Used my new FT1000 Mk V and was very impressed with the 'extra space' on 
the band with its improved front end and INRAD fillters. Will do the key 
click mod when the warranty runs out - promise!
