Yup, certainly was odd condx, I hope they don't repeat next time.
Just for the record I'm all for the Club contest series and I entirely
appreciate the effort which went into organizing them

Chris, you're jumping to conclusions.
This had nothing to do with lack of support and everything to do with
conditions. Just 20 QSOs from here, about half of which were within
25 miles radius. There was vitually no propagation to the rest of the
UK.
