Nice idea in theory, but this can cause huge problems if later in the contest
you call the station again because your logging software has not logged the
previous QSO.

It is the age old QSO B4 syndrome.

Why stations argue about this and do not accept a repeat is beyond me. If it is
truly a dupe then all will be sorted out in the checking, but most likely the
previous QSO was not completed successfully.
