Finally I have managed to work out some sort of score for our NFD effort
this year.

Being down south allowed us some good propagation (Sporadic E) on 10m and
we had 40 QSO's on 10 m in the first 42 minutes of the event, which is as
good a start as I can ever remember in NFD.  160 also proved to be a winner
this year as static was low and because of having spent many hours on
Saturday morning curing various EMC issues with the generator to give us
excellent Rx capability.  Noted a lot of activity from UA9/P land,
unfortunately none of it came through on 10 m.  Quite a few non-registered
/P calls on from G land taking part which is nice to see.

Fortunately no mishaps occurred once we were underway and the weather
stayed pleasant.  The only significant oversight was a shortage of beer on
the Sunday!
