Assuming that GU,GJ,and GD are not considered ex-UK in this context, score
might be as follows; ( Thinks, when was the last contest when I worked all
British Isles countries!)

QSOs	147x3=441
Bonus 67x5 =335

Total 776

Inside: TS870, amp=400w, Writelog 10.5

Outside: A rather crummy inverted L, being 29ft vertical suspended from the
Eucalyptus tree, and 100ft multiply bent horizontal, going from 29ft down to
about 20ft in the Yew tree.

Comments:

Was severely handicapped by ghastly noise which sat the meter up at S9 all
the while. Super Grid at ca. 600 yards, and 11kV at 50 yards will have
contributed significantly in the abysmal wx cdx. This was so bad that it
masked many callers ( and goodness knows who else). My only option was to
switch manually to my 88ft doublet on rx, which simply required too many
fingers and a degree of co-ordination beyond my capability! Thus I need to
apologise to anyone whom I struggled to copy, and some of the resultant
liddery to boot.

My impression is that G activity was quite well down, the reverse being true
from Eu, which seemed to balance out in the final score. Now I need to
puzzle as to how I can generate a Cabrillo file from the Writelog hybrid
file, which doesn't support it in native format. Would be nice if WL
supported more RSGB contests, but who can make a case for this with present
levels of activity? Any WL users with Visual C++ expertise out there?
