Hullo UK Contesters,
This is totally off topic ..... I apologise!
I am wondering if anyone else on this reflector may have had difficulty with submitting material (using the RSGB's website) to the RSGB's new Who's Who publication?
G3TXF submitted text items onto the RSGB's website and also sent an E-mail to the RSGB accompanying a photo (which was used on the front cover of the book!) to confirm that text items had been duly submitted. Unfortunately TXF's text item (submitted at the RSGB's web-site) then appears to have got 'lost'.
The end result was that TXF's mug appears on the front cover of the Who's Who book [he's the one wearing the head-phones], but there's no mention of him inside! Oh dear.....
I am therefore wondering if anyone else had a problem submitting material for this publication using the RSGB's website - i.e that a submission was made, but which was then apparently 'lost' without trace?
I understand that a certain well-known GW4 contester also had a similar problem - i.e material was submitted at the RSGB's website, but was then subsequently 'lost' in cyber-space. In the end, Steve's material had to be sent to the RSGB by FAX.
Are we the only two to have had this problem with the RSGB's Who's Who submission web-page, I wonder?

PS : I understand, notwithstanding the absence of TXF, that the RSGB's new Who Who's book is an excellent publication - hi!
