[UK-CONTEST] 80m CC last nite

My first entry on the reflector - so apologies in
advance for any major gaffes I might commit in
ignorance! (Please tell me...)

Got 90 QSOs including 1 duplicate running 10W to a
scrappy inverted L with a 50ft top 20ft up. Was
surprised that I was getting quite a good return rate
to CQs. Maybe the 1.2m earth stake I put in on
Saturday helped. I think I detected some of the echoes
through the QSK that Dave BUO referred to -
interesting -  never experienced that before!
