I too am an Alwyn refugee - in my case I moved to DXLab suite by Dave Bernstein, AA6YQ.
The support is excellent, the range, reliability and useability of the programs hugely impressive. Uploads and downloads to/from LOTW involve just a couple of mouse clicks (once you are registered).
Moving from Turbolog, I was delighted with Dave's philosopy set out in one of his reflector messages:
> As I've asserted here before, users have far more
> credibility in promoting an application than does its
> author. The bar for software quality, useability, and
> responsiveness in amateur radio was set rather low. The
> fact that software is free is no excuse for uncorrected
> defects, hostile user interfaces, and surly or defensive
> interactions. To raise the bar, the amateur community must
> must become aware that better alternatives exist.
> Fortunately, DXLab is not the only project with this
> objective...
.and he does live by this, too. There are reviews at http://www.eham.net/reviews/detail/3139
