Hi Chris <Hi gang, what is the most efficient CODEC for recording stuff, via Writelog.> PCM 8kHz, 8bit mono, 7kb/sec seems to work well for CW ( and SSB I think). I recorded virtually all 48 hours of the CQWW CW, burned it onto a CD, and haven't bothered to listen to it from that day to this! A solution looking for a problem? 73 Clive
